Katie Gail Groom is a freelance grip and gaffer based in the foothills of Golden, Colorado. She started working with light on the theater stage back in college before transitioning to film and television production. Katie has 10+ years of experience in commercial, documentary, and narrative sets. The technical and creative characteristics of lighting design drive her to be on top of her game. Katie is dedicated to the art of shaping light.
